I've said it before, and I'll say it every time I see an orbi deal... Avoid like the plague. The only good thing Netgear makes these days are switches.

I had 2 orbi systems, both died out of warranty, and then Netgear wants you to pay them annually for extended service. Despite a few quirks here or there, you're better off with Google Mesh,TP Link Deco, or one of Asus' Mesh systems.

Honestly the only good Orbi was the original rbk50. Especially paired with voxels fw. All the other versions have been trash.

I have RBR50. Which Deco system do you recommend? There are few different types in amazon. Same with google wifi.

Absolutely wrong....asus crapped out for me..750 series is rock solid...

I 💯 disagree. I run an Orbi RBR/RBS50 system and it's been great. If I needed this I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Add me to the anti-Orbi team. I had nothing but problems with mine several years ago and never bought another. I was resetting it several times a day and had problems getting my security cameras, etc. connecting.

I switched to a cheap brand then I never heard of before called urlhasbeenblocked and even that was better. Now I'm using Asus and no problems at all.

Had the same setup that worked well for about 2 yrs. Then the satellite started to lose connection with the router. I eneded up having to reset the satellite multiple times. If I added a new device to my nerwork, the router/satellite connection would also drop. Got annoying.

750 is rock solid for NO ONE, just look at previous threads here all the people complaining on snb- avoid this like the plague is right trash product, lots of drop outs the rbs750s specifically were horrible for me - anything is better- sders avoid this product

Whoever planning to buy this, be ready to be a beta tester for their firmware. I bought this from Costco twice(thought first one was faulty) and ended up with severe disconnection and through put was extremely low ( about 100mpbs vs 600 Mbps ISP).
Ended up returning both. Spent almost 2 months with Netgear customer support with no fruitful result..
Finally settled down with a non mesh Asus RT86U and i'm extremely happy with the results. It may work for many, but it didn't at least for me.

I am getting only 950 wired from modem to Main router....Each Satellite is getting only 720 wireless about 40ft..few walls...
From satellite to devices about 400...

Yes - RBS750 is BADDD...and you are right on generalizing it.
