3/2/2022 Update: Price is $49.97 at local store now. Online is showing at $119.99 after $30 coupon valid 3/2//2022 to 3/27/2022
If you bought it at $99.97, you can try 1) get price adjustment at local store; 2) purchase a new one at $49.97 and return it for refund of $99.97 (plus tax).
Good luck!
***************************************************************************
I just grabbed a Netgear CM1100 cable modem for $99.97 from a local Costco store in Minnesota. I guess this is on par with the
last front page deal in November, 2021 since you have to drive to save the extra $10.
See price tag in store attached. By the way, 97 cents means this might be a clearance item.
Online still shows $149.99. So YMMV.

It was formally 1 Gbps but they upped it in October 2021 and did not tell anyone that some devices like my Arris Surfboard SB8200 that was working fine for years couldn't get the 1.2 Gbps speed or any speed higher than 600 Mbps...it can do 2 Gbps but I'd need a 2nd IP address to set up LAG.
If anyone else has recently experienced slow speeds and is paying for this tier of internet from this ISP, you should check the site to see if your modem is still compatible with the changes. SMH you'll also need to appeal logically to the person(s) you talk to on the phone when you call to complain/ask for a reimbursement for paying for a tier of speed you could never achieve.

Primarily you are asking them to have the signal strength checked and maybe get a new outside splitter (they should provide you one with no fee...you may pay for the work but it should not be much, since these are specific directions) and a replacement cable or two installed. From the (new) splitter direct the strongest signal from that splitter (with as little splits as possible) to the location of the modem (this is where the replacement cable could be necessary since you can ask the tech to run a line as long as needed and attach both ends as needed.. They usually have a drill btw so you can also have a new coaxial cable run for you within reason. For instance, I had them once drill a new hole from outside into the room...you can direct them so not to mess up any outside siding, etc. They put weather-proof caulking to seal (from both outside and inside) the cable in place once enough slack was provided inside the room). Then the remaining locations can be checked and adjusted as necessary...if video is still part of your package and or your phone emta.

Would this solve the issue? Wow said their tech will not install outside modems and apparently 150 mbps is the norm since 1 gig is guaranteed hardwired only.
