Anyone needing a number, Ting mobile Sim is usually $1 each so don't buy a phone# from these people. Bestbuy allows max of 3 and Target allows max of 2. Buy ahead of time and activate when you need a phone#, with $30credit you shouldn't have to pay a thing if porting out in less than a day or 2

Keep in mind, there was a promo as well where if you sign up for their internet plan, they gave you up to $30/month off their promo rate of internet with xfinity mobile. In my case, that would be $19/mo for 300mbps internet. Then $200/line byod. On top of that, if you get a referral link and buy both services, you can get $75 back as well. I know someone that can refer 😉 I used a referral when I signed up and did get the gift card.

Ie: port 3 lines: bonus $600, sign up for the 300mbps internet as new customer, $30x24 for $720 discount, plus referral of $75.

So I ordered the BYOD sim with new number and hopefully it arrives Saturday or Monday, I just need to activate before 2/22 and then port a number within 30 days (can be after 22nd) to qualify for $200 right?

It's possible it can work. However, it's not officially supported and may have diminished capacity - I.E. no texts, no voicemail, no data, etc.

I do know that you won't be able to order service with that phones' IMEI. You can order service with an IMEI generator of another brand that is supported and try your oneplus. Just know that it is risky if you are going to truly use the service.

You don't need to activate before 2/22. You just need to have ordered it. You have 30 days from your order date to complete porting / activation.

Porting / activating happen at the same time - at least if you selected 'keep my number' to be eligible for the gift card.

I selected give me a new number, supposedly the rep said it would still qualify for GC as long as I port in within 30 days even if I activate first with new number. Or do you think I should call up and see if I can switch it to port at same time?

Eh, I would make a second order with 'keep my number'. I wouldn't trust things if the gift card isn't referenced as you order.

You can certainly chat with them and get chat transcripts, but I think keeping everything inside their automated system would be preferable.

Don't you have a number ready for porting? Stuff like this just gets you an extra hurdle to overcome if things don't come out right. Am not saying you won't get the gift card but next time if you can do it straight up, it makes everything less complicated. If you have ordered already there is no going back.

Looking to get 5 boost mobile numbers with account numbers and pins if anyone has extra laying around. Also how long did it take from order date to get the sims?

Yes, you have to have your ducks in a row before you jump in the cold water. Just makes everything less complicated for everyone. Meaning better chance of you getting your gc with no hair pulling experience from the customer reps. Now if you are bald...... That's another story!

I don't know if they will convert you to the new plan. You can weigh your options, see what works better for you in the long run.
