Too much kayaking, not enough action
I enjoyed the general concept of the game, and the mechanics are executed very well. However, after making it through the first level of the campaign (about 40 minutes of play time) I am going to be returning it for a refund. My issue comes down to one primary observation: I expected this game to be mostly about the action with a bit of kayaking, and the first level felt like about 60% kayaking and 40% action. Even then, it's worth noting that the game incessantly reminds you that killing should be a last resort. I ignored this and killed every baddy I found because that's the fun part to me: figuring out how to eliminate the enemies in the most efficient way possible without raising an alarm. But the game clearly wants you to kill as little as possible and rely on careful maneuvering and such to make it through without alerting the baddie. This means that if you played the game as directed, it would literally be about 90% kayaking and 10% other stuff. Even though it is done well, I bought this game because I thought it would be a Splinter Cell-style stealth assassin game with a kayak twist, but it has turned out to feel more like a kayak simulator with a stealth twist.

If you have an itchy trigger finger and just want to shoot dudes, that's fine, but this game isn't for you. If you enjoy a slow and methodical, atmospheric VR experience, then maybe give it a shot. I enjoyed the physicality of navigating the swamps and tunnels in the various environments as much as other aspects of the game.
Despite my praise of the game, though, I haven't finished it, and that's due to motion sickness. It does offer comfort options, including vignettes and click-turning when in-place, but there is a small but constant sway when you paddle that made prolonged sessions difficult. I do plan to revisit it, though. Like VR comfort in anything, your mileage may vary.
