Are any of you who are existing customer able to get this to work? When I log in, the trade in value drop to a max of $450. When I'm not logged in, I'm offered full value. Is this a new customers only deal?

These trade-in values are really tempting.

I love my s10e, it's the perfect phone for me as far as form factor, camera, audio jack, MicroSD, and size (Samsung doesn't make flagship phones in this size/form factor anymore). However, i don't think i will ever get $800 for this phone ever again (and a 256gb upgrade to boot). Arrgh

Why don't we just buy from Samsung directly if you have phone to trade in with $800 value. Here is what I see for me
For S22 ultra 256gb with note 20 ultra trade-in the cost is $323 before tax (and tax is only on 323) and in addition I am getting $250 credit from Samsung and free wireless charger. Any reason I should consider T-mobile deal eve on max plan?

With T-mobile even if I remove the 24 month credit assuming I will stay with T-mobile I am actually paying more ($1200-$1000 = 200+ Tax on $1200 which in my case is 10%) roughly $320 but then no other credit like $250 from samsung and freebies....

I initially saw somewhere on the web that Tmobile was offering $250 credit from Samsung same way as Samsung does, however I cannot file any refrences to it. Was I dreaming or it was offered and then taken down ????

It was a typo, but you are right, it would be 120 which is even better. And yes I brought up someone else (here on SD) just to bring up another example.
But hey, I could care less if you believe me or not. You did the math yourself. $120 before autopay discount if you are only paying for 2 lines. I will let you figure out what the autopay discount. You do know how many times tmobile has offered free lines right? A bunch.

It all depends on what phone you are trading in. You are talking about trading in a very recent phone. The note 20 ultra is probably the best sweet spot of a deal. For a mid range or older phone, like note 10 plus or s10e, Samsung trade in value doesn't even come close to what tmobile is offering. Note 10 plus is 425 on Samsung and 1000 on tmo. S10e is 140 on Samsung and 800 on tmobile.

Totally make sense in that case. That is why I mentioned Note 20 ultra for me. In my case buying from Samsung is much better even if I am on magenta max plan

There are 3 options for this deal -

1. Magenta Max will get up to $1000 credit (depend on trade-in phone).
2. Other plans will get up to $500 credit (depend on trade-in phone).
3. BOGO $800 off

In my case of 2 Samsung Note 9 phones, I'll go with option 1 since it gives me the best value and also because I already have Magenta Max plan.

is this deal still valid? I see on the samsung website the Note 20 ultra is only $600 tradein value and the credit is only $200?

I see what your are saying, you have to choose TMobile to get the $800 value for note20 ultra. And for the credit I still see 250 you have to login to see that.

i would say though that the $250 credit is not as valuable as you think because they are making you spend it now (in the past, you could have defer that for a different purchase), and many of the discounted stuff available are now sold out from what I have heard.

Yes clicking the TMobile activation box and employer discount same as edu. $250 credit is like $100-150 for me if I end up selling since I don't need any accessories. And for now I didn't but anything just getting the credit certificate for purchase later.
