Same. I got the impression conversion is a 1-time deal. But at the same time I'm already maxed out on GPU ... I think there's a 2-year prepay limit. So buying more now wouldn't make sense for me anyway. I already have 1 unused code as is for that reason.

What I said has nothing to do with Eneba or code reselling. Xbox Live Gold is officially $60 max, often $40-50 during their sales. It can then convert. All from official retailers.

I'm currently paying $14.99/month, so I guess this for $9.20/month saves me a little cash. I really need to take advantage of the next 12-month offer or those conversion tricks...

EDIT: after looking at CDKeys.com more closely, they have 6 Month Live Gold [cdkeys.com] passes available for $31.59. If I currently have GPU and purchase Live Gold, will the 6-month pass upgrade to GPU for 6 months? Seems like a much better option if so.

think of xbox ultimate game pass as a higher tier than xbox live

so you'll get all the perks of xbox live plus all the other perks from ultimate game pass

I didn't know that was a thing that could be done legitimately. I will look into it. Thank You. It's strange MS has that and that people wouldn't just do this all the time instead of ultimate.

To clarify, there is a promotion for new Game Pass Ultimate users. If you do not currently have Game Pass Ultimate, they allow you to convert at a 1:1 rate for $1 flat. You are correct that the normal conversion rate is not 1:1 and current members don't have the same cheap deal for converting.
