We switched to Canidae several years ago because our dogs are getting older and the big one in particular has hip/joint issues and we decided that we needed to be giving her a better quality food. Many of the Canidae types have glucosamine incorporated and are grain free, which makes yeard pick up much easier! My husband told me this jsut went up to $65, so the $25 coupon is a godsend!

I don't think I could spend almost $4 a pound for bagged dog food. If I was worried about giving the dog a grain free diet, I'd just make her pork chops on the grill at $1.99 a pound.

Where do you get pork chops at $2/lb even the cheapest ground beef around here is $4+/lb around here

Seattle-area Safeway stores often have 80/20 for $3 a pound and asst. pork chops for $2.50/lb.
