This has been specifically helpful to me because I tend to ignore all TMobile posts. I'm staying on Sprint as long as possible as I'm grandfathered into a $40/month plan.

I'm a T-Mobile user, but I think this is a good post for those who are still tied to Sprint billing. I know that some of the previous T-Mo promo did not apply to Sprint users.

Thanks. I may just risk it, as the new phone is worth the $230 to keep my wife quiet if I don't continue to get the monthly credits. I also have a Oneplus phone I own clean which is worth $800 as a trade in on a different spare line, but I really want to keep that phone around as a spare.

Hello, did you risk it? I am thinking of doing the same but I just received the phone. I do plan to stay with sprint I just don't want a debt.

Does anyone know if this works for the "Unlimited on Us" line on your current plan?
And if adding a finance phone onto the line will removed the Unlimited on Us credit?
Yes, works on UoU plan. No change in plan.

Check your monthly bill. I am being charged 40 dollars more this month because Tmobile said warehouse has received but hasn't verified my return phone. Anyone else facing this issue?

Is this your 1st billing cycle after upgrading?

I upgraded one line 4 days left before my billing cycle ended, and by the time I received my new device and was ready to ship out my trade-in, my next bill (1st bill after upgrade) got generated. The new promo was successfully attached to the upgraded line.

The point of my story is warehouse did NOT have my device, and promo was already attached.

Usually, if the promo does not attach successfully on the 1st bill after upgrade, the promo won't attach on your 2nd or 3rd bill automatically. It happened to me 2-3 years ago.

I thought the sprint network was shutting down? I have a sprint branded samsung a50 that I have on redpocket using sprint towers. I need it unlocked so I can use it on t-mobile after the sprint 4g network shuts down in may or june; sprint CS won't do it, they claim that they don't even see my phone in their system. Anyone have any suggestions?

most sprint phones are working on T-mobile since merged. My Sprint moto G play worked on T-mobile without unlocking. Try put a T-mobile sim in and test.

It says "invalid SIM", maybe I put it in wrong, I'll try again

So only for Sprint and not T-Mobile? I thought they were the same now. These changes in cellphones and carriers come so often and fast now I have trouble keeping up!!

Did you ever resolved this? I've been working with T-Mobile for months and they are still giving me the run around. UPS says it was delivered back in March.
