Did a search but did not see any current posts about their birthday deal.

Through March 9th 2pm central, NordVPN.com is offering 2-years of their VPN service for just $83.76 (regularly $287.76) or $3.49 per month. Additionally, they are including a mystery extra subscription time surprise which will be added to the plan. Giveaway will be 1-month, 1-year, or 2-years extra subscription time.

This offer is available to both new and current subscribers. For current NordVPN subscribers, the 2 years will just be added to the end of the current subscription. Just use the same e-mail address as your current subscription for billing.

It looks like slickdeals may have a cashback for NordVPN. I'm not definite the amount but do see up to 70% listed. If it works with this promo, it would be awesome.

Can anyone comment on NordPass Premium? I notice that it includes that to my cart for an addiional charge along with NordVPN, but it can be removed.

I'm not OP but I don't think this is a bad deal at all. I was able to get 4yrs added for $89. I guess it depends on the "gift" part. Even other deals like $99 for 3 years(past deal) is not as good as what I got from this. But I guess YMMV

I saw on "Jays 2 cents" (youtube) that they quietly ARE keeping logs and that is why he no longer recomends them.. Was that changed? Over blown? Or not important anymore? Kind of defeats the need. If all you are looking for is a secure conection when on public wifi, I believe a Raspberry pi can do that from your home internet conection for free, I read some where..

I did do a search. The last one I saw was their black friday deal last November. That one was for 2 yrs $79, and the post received +11 with multiple thumbs up. How are you able to get 4 years? It says 2 years as random git and it will be rate as it is the max out of all gift options.

well i just got 1 free month.... cancelling and requesting the 30 day policy to get my money back. Stupid, they could just give a free year to everyone and it would be the same great deal as usual...

Tried to find this… do you have a link or more info. "Jays 2 Cents" stopped promoting Nord because he was unhappy about their response in a Finland server hack back in 2019, but even in that video he said Nord doesn't keep logs. Keeping logs would be downright stupid for a VPN service to do and could potentially put them out of business.

While this hack (and Nord's response) is concerning, there is nothing in the article or Jay's video that indicates they're keeping logs. If you've seen or heard otherwise, I would love to see it.

This is a really stupid promotion and just on principle I will not only not participate but I will look for another vendor. I am not some gambling schoolboy to be treated like a pet so I can get a treat. I will pay for something when I know what I am getting and I know what it costs. Does their service contain hidden gamification and surprises too?

I have NordVPN and its good. I just searched my email to see what I paid before and while I cant find that I do find an email they sent me in September 2021 offering 2 more years for $69 + 3 months free, so this deal is looking even less appealing right now...
