Nice! Was able to bypass the $5.99 charge for placing an order under $35…dont know how. I'm picking it up from the store but I'm also a Walmart Plus member…either way, thanks and rep'd!

"Popular" at 0tu 4 comments, with 2 of the comments relaying that this is the normal in store price. posted by Paid SD Staff. somehow this combination warrants "Popular" tag?

edit: a quick 4tu recovery? wild voting. the anonymity of it does make one wonder who/how this happens

Was gonna say the same thing! Here's a hot take lol: Slickdeals is driving inflation by riling up people to buy stuff at non-sale prices, and this increased "demand" means retailers have less need to put stuff on sale. Never has the saying "do your research" been more applicable!

Just because there are comments stating it is everyday price, or because there isnt an mrsp crossed off on the item page, doesnt mean its not a deal. I am not claiming this is the deal of the century , but it does align with prior fp deals. When i researched this, I could not find them at this price point. If you can, please share it. But for now, the lowest i can find (other than op) is $1.28 each on the white ones. Home depot has the grey at $1.78 each https://www.homedepot.com/p/Steri.../308820126

You're right, there's not a lot of accurate price data out there for these. I just knew their normal selling price because I've bought them in store several times over the years. In this case, the $1.28 individual vs $1.10 in-bulk price is just the wholesale advantage, not a sale. This is by no means a bad price for anyone who needs them now, but also not worth posting. Occasionally the weirder-color lid varieties go on clearance and that is worth posting so people can stock up on-the-cheap.

When? Show us your receipt. I don't have any reason to trust your memory to be that accurate about a trivial purchase.

Lots of pissing and moaning here without showing anything useful. Here, let me help you:

Shows lowest price $9.42. No idea if it's as reliable as the triple camel, but better than showing nothing. In fact, it says this is a higher price than yesterday and any time since July -- it showed the same since January until I refreshed, but their interface is lacking. (If blocked URL, Waltrack -- "Wall Track" with one less 'L', one word, with DOT NET at the end):
https://waltrack.net/product/247777555

Brickseek shows $10.98 around me, except one store does have it for $9.48 right now. Found one store in Torrance, CA (tried 90210 -- you know Walmart is popular in Beverly Hills 😁) that has them for $8.00! So looks to me like this is a Roll forward, not a Rollback -- tsk tsk, Walmart!

Frankly, if you need these, it seems like a decent enough everyday price, and Walmart appears to be the cheapest around. If you don't, wait until you do, and it'll probably be within 10% either direction. Not everything needs to be a killer deal.

Pretty new to me, too. There are a few Android/iOS apps, but as far as I can tell, they're kind of meh, except for the price scanners for checking for in-store deals. I've been hoping to see one that meets up to the 3C's standards, and that's what their claimed goal is, so maybe they're working on improvements.

For Walmart, not all non-sale prices are available to everyone and increasingly, not all non-sale prices are with free delivery. This one is free delivery for me, but I don't need it.

Meanwhile, having read the seemingly hidden TOS/rules that has been pointed out more than once in different places (that I cannot now find), it said that the Mods have the discretion to upgrade a posting that in their opinion, is likely to be popular or front page. Anyone here for any length of time has seen it happen for not just a Staff posting, but also for others.

I have zero problem with this being posted nor with people buying it.
If people need this today, go for it. Like you said, competitive price at the moment.

But to say this "aligns with prior FP deals" seems disingenuous a bit generous to the current price. (Edit: I don't mean to imply OP is a shill for BigTupperware or anything sketchy)
And Slickdeals IS adding the "strikethrough" price on the mobile app, claiming a markdown from $24.98...which also seems a bit misleading. Where did that number even come from? As you said, there is no prior/msrp price listed on the Walmart item page.
EDIT: OP got the "before" price off Amazon. Not sure where Amazon got the number as the listing is a 3rd party seller [amazon.com] and Amazon will take that info from the seller, so (as OP said) take MSRP/"before" prices with healthy skepticism.
