They have an additional paid option for end-to-end encryption on a specific folder. Unfortunately you can't stream files from that folder. For extra security use rClone [rclone.org] with Crypt [rclone.org], Cryptomator [cryptomator.org] or Boxcryptor [boxcryptor.com].... could also just zip files with a password and upload those.

pCloud is one of the good lifetime services (maybe THE good one). They've been around almost 10 years now. If you only got 10 years out of it, for $245, that's still a great deal for 2TB.

Still don't know how it makes economical sense though, but what interests me is a lot of friends are paying month-to-month for it, and that is a business model that works a lot better. :-)

Yeah, I've read that if you host "backup movies" and share them they are pretty quick to just close the account.

The weird thing (i'm a recent customer) is that they encourage you to upload your music and use it as a personal music streaming service - which actually works really well. Just wondering if they will look at that and close my account too...?
