- change screen from 250 nits to 300 nits
- 32gb octane is free
- change to Wi-Fi 6
Total is $704.99. Worth the $80 to make this a nicer computer.
1195g7 is the tippy top quad core… Runs hot as the sun under load. Wonder how thermals are.
Hiding screws under feet ain't as if they are meant to be popped off like Samsung does.
if you have to deal with adhesive, though… Ughh.
- laptop randomly freezes due to HD drivers (no fix)
- CPU fan is noisy as a tractor sometimes because either fan is low quality or it is triggered too often (no fix)
- to add RAM I had to disassemble the laptop fully to get to freaking slots
- huge amount of bloatware
I have the same bodied laptop except with a Ryzen 5700. My pet peeve is HP hides all but two screws under rubber feet.

It also has Thunderbolt, and the 4700u can drive 2x 4K monitors and it's 1080p screen all at 60 Hz.

HP builds great laptops, but this might not be one of them.
EDIT: Found the ready to ship version of this machine with 300-nits screen, it is 72% NTSC / 100% sRGB rated.
