So I bought it couple years ago and all i had to do is iron the collar once and now collar folds down. I think its a great jacket at this price though. Quality is amazing and it looks good.

Been with the company 6 years, not one item has increased in price. It seems like people will repeat anything they read elsewhere from other haters. We've introduced new items to the line at various and possibly higher prices, but we don't increase the price of existing items.

Nearly all of them...like, 30 years ago when nearly every other manufacturer did. Way to stay relevant. For the record, we do still make tons of stuff in America, but those factory jobs go unfilled as Americans typically just don't want to do that work, even in poorer parts of the country. Americans also typically don't want to pay the higher prices for American-made gear.

Carhartt is one size bigger than most brands. Carhartt relaxed fit is two sizes bigger. The XL relaxed fit shirt I got was an XXXL, no joke.

Yup, Carhartt is made for "real 'Muricans", big people 😉. I'm 160lbs 5'8'' and wear a medium (not this exact jacket) for farm work and easily have room for a sweater under it on those windy 0° days, also room for my gloves to go inside when I need my hands ungloved.
