Teach monsters was great. This reminds me I need to cancel Math Tango which is 5 a month subscription. If anyone has any good free Math apps please share, they all kind of sucked compared to Math Tango but $5/m adds up for a single app.

Never tried Math Tango with the kids. Of the tools I'm currently using with the kids only Prodigy has a free plan. However, the design will nag you and the kids to become a member and I'd argue that the rpg interface isn't best suited to the youngest learners. I like Prodigy and subscribe, but I'd mention the other subscriptions I also still employ.
This journey started with Dreambox and I can't say enough good things there, especially for younger learners (since there's little distraction beyond the core math learning). Beast Academy is amazing but works well with guidance or a learner who is both self-directed and willing to grind.
Good luck!
Jon

Teach Your Monster is great, but it uses an English accent though.
This is true and I have to listen for certain instances where I need to interject and teach OUR way for saying it! My son would say "numba" for number. Can't think of all the other words it said with British English accent

Anyone looking for a reading app IRL the phonics readers from the originating company (USBORNE) are top notch and have the added bonus of being focused on reading skills and lacking the branding/product placement of so many books targeted to children.

I have no idea why someone downvoted you here. It's truly my only criticism. There is even one startling cockney? inflection version of a word in the app halfway through that was not American English. The inflection of "R" with a British accent was confusing for my daughter but eventually she understood. That's my only criticism of this app. It is PHENOMENAL otherwise.

As is usually the case with these free app posted here, when I go to check Google Play and iTunes, I already got them for free before. It's too bad companies are so stingy they keep giving away the same stuff periodically instead of something new. Epic Games is repeating a lot too lately.
Android Police used to list Android deals 3 times a week. Now it's usually only once a week so I have to check elsewhere. For a laugh I noticed this great "deal". Ahem:
It's an app that's normally $400 but free right now. Based on reviews it appears its only noteworthy feature is its ridiculously high price. I won't risk adding it to my account for fear I could get charged $400 in spite of it saying free. It doesn't look like anything I'd play or miss.

I gladly paid for it way back when, and I've recently leaned that they're developing a math program.
