pretty well, though occasionally there's an issue where the bag gets caught/stuck as it's being pulled down/out through into the bottom receptacle. If not careful the bag can tear effectively wasting a portion of the bag (have to pull more through and recut and tie bottom to get rid of torn area). So just be careful when dealing with a stuck bag (whether it occurs during intial install/pull through of cylinder, or during use with diapers in bag inside receptacle

seems like the culprit is the quality of the plastic parts of the cylinder and/or bag quality issues that cause bag to get caught up when pulling it out/through

I was reading the reviews on it and someone noted that Playtex and Mama Bear are distributed by the same company Edgewell Personal Care Brand LLC. More than likely they are the exact same thing.

Gone through two kids, Had two UBI stainless steel diaper pails as we did not think it wise to spend money for bag refills. Best decision ever, NO smell whatsoever from them and one can use regular kitchen garbage bags. Got them for around $40 each few years back. Would highly recommend them. Just wanted to share.

Edit-- its UBBI diaper pail. If someone wants to save more money, they can buy pre-owned as they are just garbage cans ♂️

With 1080 you can take the bag out daily for the entire period the kid isn't potty trained (~3 years). That's a lot of bags.

If you don't want to replace your UBBI because it stinks you might want to just seal the bag and replace after every poop. Ours smelled so much from poops sitting in there 24 hours, despite the bag they were in, we eventually tossed the first and replaced it. Those odors were baked into the metal.

how does Stainless steel compare with diaper genie plastic? doesn't a steel one stink in the long run?

Hoping this fits my Litter Locker 2, since the refills for that system are hard to come by/are perhaps discontinued.

When I first bought these bags, I thought the same thing. 1080 refers to the max capacity of diapers it can hold. And that's probably newborn diapers. My kid is in size 4 diapers. One of these rings lasts 1-2 months (~200 diapers/ring).
