GameStop has their deal back up for getting a pro membership for $15 with 10,000 points ($10 of store credit) when you sign up.

I went to the store today and they allowed me to use 15000 points to renew my membership and gave me 10000 points as a reward. So the membership cost me 5000 points for another year from the date it was due to expire. The Rep had to print out a coupon to scan in order for this to happen so YMMV for a renewal offer. I couldn't find the coupon online.

I can't find it online either but I wonder if you can just redeem 15k pts for an in store credit and do it. I haven't ever redeemed my pro points so I was just looking at doing something like this.

The way I saw it was my auto renewal would charge me $15 without any extra bonus. If I let my membership expire and they don't have a bonus than than I'll probably wait till they do have one. So the rep brought it up himself saying there's an ongoing promotion for renewals if you wanna take advantage. I don't think it will get any better than 5000 points for another year of membership which pays $5 a month back anyways as long as you shop there.

Be careful with renewing I got the bonus for past renewal but recently tried again when it was $10 and didn't get the 10,000 and had to call in and manually got it added and was told wouldn't be eligible for the bonus points again until January 2024 . Did it in store if that matters ( October 2021 went fine but January 2022 didn't)

Yes and you can redeem it online or in the app as long as the order total is at least 5.01

You can also double dip! Put a $10 code in your cart through the site or app. Make sure you see $5 pur reward and that you note or write down the code for it. Get a $5 code on receipt in store. Go back to site or app and if the reward is no longer showing, input it. Get $15 in currency for $10.

Of course, I think they will kill this soon.

How long does it take for points to show on the account? I just signed up from a basic account. Asking because after logging in the checkout page didn't mention any promo. Looked wrong but I went for it anyways.

I redeemed mine last weekend just fine. Asked the associate about it and he said they changed their mind.

Redeemed my 10K points too, in case they change their mind a 2nd time. Since I signed up, I'm at $50 in Xbox gift cards. Well worth it.
