GameStop has their deal back up for getting a pro membership for $15 with 10,000 points ($10 of store credit) when you sign up.

I went to the store today and they allowed me to use 15000 points to renew my membership and gave me 10000 points as a reward. So the membership cost me 5000 points for another year from the date it was due to expire. The Rep had to print out a coupon to scan in order for this to happen so YMMV for a renewal offer. I couldn't find the coupon online.

Just fyi for anyone who doesn't know.

You can use the $5 monthly reward both in-store AND online. In other words, $10 total rewards per month.

You have to get the reward code first via the website and copy it for future use. Then go in store to use your $5 and then use the code for another $5 off online. Currently works on digital / eshop currency. I got a total $10 of Nintendo eshop credit this month.

You can't use the reward online first because it will disappear from your account and you won't be able to use it in store anymore. Have to redeem in store first and then online.

Is there a time limit on this by chance? I just tired it with $10 signup thing and forgot for a couple hours and tried and it didn't work. I know the signup may be coded differently but just curious on your experience with the how fast to redeem both $5 in store and online.

I think when you first sign up, you don't get the $5 monthly reward right away. I think you get it the 1st of the month so if you just signed up, you will get your 1st $5 monthly reward around March 1st. At least that was how it worked for me when I signed up this past November. You usually have until the end of the month to redeem the $5 reward. I don't think it works with any other reward except for the $5 monthly one.

Thats what I figured, was just curious how fast you have to do both the $5 in store and online. Something tells me it isn't supposed to work that way lol

Ah ok I see what you mean. I honestly think it will work as long as you use both within the month that it's valid. I.e., use the $5 in store at the beginning of the month and $5 online near the end of the month. I think I used my online $5 several days after the in store one.
