Browsing thru all the stories and seeing some horror stories makes me wonder if this Pennzoil Rebate program is rigged. I'm sure most will get their rebate but if they do this to even 10% of the people they are cheating and making a bundle.
"Alright, so I called them and asked as I have two in "mailed" status.. It took 42 minutes to get this answer of holding but the lady who answered said that apparently, the vendor had a batch failure for a large group of rebates. She said 3/7 to 3/15 and they are resending them but they've not been told when the end-user will receive it but it should be very soon. I was wrong on my mail date it was actually the 8th because I had to resubmit the receipt(forgot about that). So if you turned to "mail" state from 3/7-3/15 you may be receiving it soon."

I bought 2 jugs but confirmation email labeled it as 10 single quarts on one and Oil Change at participating retailer on another even though I did not select that. I have now spent close to an hour on two calls and the website in the hopes of getting back $50 which is not worth all the frustration "

Amazon better deal entirely tho with previous comment of that being approved list retailer-$16.70/5 qt, with 15%S&S
If they're going to issue some Shell gift card that can only be used at Shell gas stations then this isn't such a good deal.
Their euro line also qualifies for rebate. Good for bmw and Mercedes

I ordered four 5 quart ultra platinum full synthetic from Amazon. All four were in one transaction. This may or may not be a problem in getting two $25 rebates, I don't know. As some of the posts have suggested, it may be the case that this should have been in two separate transactions to qualify for two $25 rebates. Will find out.

I saved Page 3 for my own record. I also received an email confirmation, which went to spam. So check your spam folder and whitelist the from email address.
Will have to wait and see if I will in fact get two $25 gift cards and see what the choices are.
