Our family has been using Ricardo for years and it's held up fine. These look sturdier than the ones we have: hard shell but thin and flexible. The handle could be a bit better as it flexes a lot when pushing the luggage. Wheels are okay as well. Everything works as intended and for the price, they have held up on various trips all over the world. These look more solid so definitely worth a try.

One thing to note that carry on sizes are 22x9x14. These are 9.5x14.5 so just a bit larger. Shouldn't be a problem unless the airlines wants to be a jerk. Never happened to me but just fyi.

I bought these bags without the intention of returning them. I hope I don't have to, but Costco does have an excellent returns policy.

If you intend to return your purchase after using it, the price is immaterial.
