These are All-Clad D3 and they are great pans. I'm a fan of buying pieces individually, but if these smaller pans are exactly what you need and want, it's a good price.
If I was cooking for more than one person and starting out with a few pieces, I'd probably choose a 3qt saucepan or saucier rather than the 2 qt in that set. If saving money is paramount, you could just buy a D3 saute pan and saucepan, and a cheaper brand stock pot that isn't clad all the way up the sides.

Count me among those who would never recommend getting an entire non-stick set. Most experienced cooks will advise having one non-stick skillet (either non-stick coated, or if you know how to take care of it, cast iron or carbon steel), to use for gently cooking things like eggs and fish without sticking.
For the rest of your smaller pieces (a saute' pan, a sauce pan, or other pans that go from stovetop to oven), you don't want nonstick, and All-Clad tri-ply stainless is your best choice for performance in this price range. But as with any cookware (including non-stick), it's important to take the time to understand its characteristics and how to use it.

I started with a 12 inch skillet, and this 7 piece set was exactly what I needed to round out my collection.
The 2 quart saucepan and 3 quart sauté pan are worth almost $200 each if bought individually, the 6 quart stock pot is another $300. 10 inch fry pan is $100.
This is an amazing value and it only happens about twice a year
