It "USED" to be that Sony's 800 model was 95% as good as the 900 but lacking some upper-tier features and not as purty but that has changed, nowadays.

Sony should be ashamed for manufacturing the X800G.

It's 30% bigger. And it all depends how far away you sit to. With 4k you can need a bigger screen to see the fine details (again based on distance).

Not sure why we can't say anything about the "name your own price" websites, but I just had a counter offer I accepted for the X91J 85" for $1,999 including shipping and no tax to my state. Can't really beat that price.

I currently own a 2016 Sony XBR-75X850D. I was looking to upgrade and spend a lot of time with the Sony Rep in Best Buy talking through each set. As I was looking to go up to a 85" set, it was between this set X85J, the X91J, and the X95J. I was told (by Sony Rep) that this set, the X85J was only a slight improvement over what I currently have, so I ended up going for the X95J. Although it is a Gorgeous picture and games look great, I swear I am finding it hard to justify almost double the price of this set.
