The current thinking is that whether you'll have the problem or not depends on which version of the LCD panel you get (there are multiple manufacturers).
The current work arounds:
- Use old drivers, or
- Enable hybrid mode (which lowers gaming performance).
Still waiting on Lenovo or Nvidia to create a fix... it's been a few months.
You can get a further 12-15% ($204-$255) discount via a certain rebate site (with 'ten' in its name) which would bring the price down to an all time low of $1449.39.
According to members, the extension shows 12%, whereas if you avail it via their site, it's 15%.
You can also get an additional 5% off by registering at id. me if you're eligible for it.

Still a bit expensive though. If you can get the cheaper configuration with 16GB and 512GB from WM, it would still cost you less to upgrade to this configuration yourself.
Guess lenovo is trying to clear out all the 5800H before the 6800H
