Snagged a EM1 ii. Slick indeed
Caved and snagged one as well. Now to look for a battery grip and a couple of additional batteries and should be all set. Have two E-M5's that I took with me on a 9 day trip to Japan - what a difference this format makes for portability. Barely felt the cameras in my pack along with the lenses. And contrary to popular opinion, printed a 20x30 image of my pet golden shot with a 45-200 Lumix lens and it looks absolutely terrific !

I mean, if money's no object I'd take E-M1 II plus 12-40mm 2.8 PRO Smilie. But the comment above is more sensible...

Edit: added last sentence.

Yeah, same question, $1K is ok for me to spend.

Yes, every one of them is a M43 format lens. So they will all work on all M43 bodies - not just Olympus but on Panasonic M43s as well

Any recommendation for a beginner, camera + lens?
EM10 Mark III
14-150 lens (outdoor carry around)
Add 17mm f/1.8 or 25mm f/1.8 for shooting indoors, those aren't on sale, but you'll need a 1.8 lens for indoors. The long zoom is not an indoor lens at all.

For videos what camera is better for the money?
Video isn't really Olympus' best area, but the EM1-II would be the best of those followed by the EM10-III. The lenses you get will also have an impact on the results you get. What kind of video shooting are youthe trying to do?

Can anyone shed some light on what an R lens is? Seems like it's a mounting type, but if a camera accepts a regular lens and R lens does it mean there will be a gap of some sort when using the R lens?

Family vacation - I use to be a sony shooter but have sold all my gears. Need something cheaper to shoot videos…Im leaning to the EM1

I bought the Panasonic Lumix G85 a couple weeks ago. Am I better off with one of these instead?

Main use is product photography - small items, like coins.
Probably doesn't make much of a difference for that use case, G85 has focus stacking too I believe. Your lenses will be more important for your results. One of the macro lenses would be your best option. Both olympus and panasonic have options.

So I have an M10.3 with a 25 1.7 lens. I find it still too noisy and not fast enough AF for shooting my toddlers (indoors, standard home lighting). Would the M1.2 or M5.2 be marginally better?

I struggle with seeing a boost in IQ while remaining on the M43 system or am I off base?

OLYMPUS OM-D E-M1 Mark II was released in 2016. Is it still worth getting at this price?

Try the 25 1.4 Leica lens.

The EM1 II would be your better bet of these options by far, and if you want a lighter lens option, the 12-45 f/4 or the Panasonic 12-35 f/2.8 would be solid, should be able to find those used for good prices. The 14-150 also on sale can work too for a wider range, then you can add a prime like 17mm f/1.8 when indoors.
