I am literally dealing with Newegg merchant issues right this very moment with RAM. I ordered 2 sets of G.SKILL 2x16GB 3600 from 2 separate merchants via Newegg. First one said it was delivered but nothing at my front door. So I call FedEx and they tell me that the tracking number I was provided was not for my address and to reach out to the seller. I reach out to the merchant and they said that the carrier lost my package and they will just issue me a refund. So now I only have 1 set of the ram coming to me. So I need to go back and order another one. I do that and unfortunately the price has now jumped up by $20. I buy it anyways because I need it. The second one says it was delivered now and it's the same thing. No package. I call FedEx and they tell me the same thing. Package does not list me or my address as the recipient. While I'm on the phone I go ahead and ask them to check the 3rd set I ordered. They tell me that the tracking number from that one is not going to me either.

These are from 3 completely different merchants and all the same exact issue. None of them ever even shipped anything to me. They all provided a bogus tracking number and claimed they shipped my packages when they never did and just blamed it on the package being lost by the carrier.

So here I am 3 weeks later after 3 separate orders from 3 separate merchants with no RAM and waiting on refunds for 2 of the 3. One has already been refunded.

I do appreciate the support I got from Newegg with regard to getting these orders processed for refunds but they do a crap job of vetting their merchants. I would never buy anything from Newegg that is not shipped by them directly. It's not worth the hassle.

Dang, never knew that. I expect competitor prices to drop down in. I'll keep an eye out on Amazon to see if anything from them drops to similar prices.

I've used newegg merchants before, but I guess I was just lucky.
I guess quality has gone down drastically.
