This is a great deal. Only stumbled across this post today but I was able to purchase this bundle for $12.98 today. It's a combo where you get 2 sets and the price of one is $7.55 and the price of the other is $5.43. We have several of the other melissa & doug food sets and they are nice quality wooden food items that I've paid $10-$15 each for previously.

Got it at 15.26 a while back and this is a must if you have the wooden fresh mart. Currently $162 at Target.

A quick tip to fill your grocery mart is to stuff food boxes like a Mac & cheese box with junk mail or newspaper and tape it up with clear shipping tape. Gives it heft and toddler proof.

I got the Grocery Stand/Lemonade Stand a while back for $58 and I plan to use this set with that. It's an alternate option to purchasing the full wooden fresh mart set, but still goes great with this set. Even if all you have is a play kitchen, I still think this set is useful on its own. Comes with lots of food and money, and in my experience, kids can be wildly creative. They can set up a grocery store on a table nearby and make it work.

This is a great deal. You definitely don't need anything else to go with it for kids to play grocery store.

Similar to what someone else suggested, I cram plastic bags inside the cardboard boxes (until they're stiff) and wrap them in packing tape. That makes them last much longer. The boxes on the right set are wood but the boxes on the left set are cardboard. My kids (and I) like both kinds. The cardboard doesn't hold up as well, especially if you don't do anything to make them last, but they are more realistic.
