Same thing happened with Deathloop last year. Unadvertised $10 off sale on launch day at Walmart. Go fig.

Pretty much. I remember doing this for Animal Crossing in 2020 and it was already being done for at least a year before that.

However, there are apparently TONS of people who still have no idea that Walmart does this because they don't advertise it well. So I think these threads are worthwhile.

Yeah though you don't have to go to the store to confirm if a title gets the launch discount. You can check online before you go

I know but if i saw the discount that would have pushed me over the edge to buy. I had to grab some other supplies regardless.

Also, if you get the ps4 version it's cheaper than the ps5 version. Which will also give you the ability to upgrade the game to ps5 for free.

Both games? This is on pc, xbone and ps. Never played a souls game, the idea of dying 2000 times seems frustrating
