Bit bulky with all that extra tubing/wiring
Probably not for the average driver since it requires tapping onto the battery rather than DC jack in the cabin. Pros and Cons.
Tons of much cheaper options out there though if you're likely only an occasional/emergency user.

For some cars, you need the car to be running before turning it on. This is to prevent it from blowing a fuse.
When its dark and raining and you need to use it, youll be happy you got the beefy one. It wont be broken, its fast, and honestly the battery clamps are almost as easy as the plug which often breaks
The thing that stopped me was some of the truly horrible reviews about people finding that model to be unreliable junk, poor quality, etc.
Had there been no such concerns about the quality / reliability of that model I'd likely have bought it but I already have had two
vehicle compressors break on me with light usage over the past several years, I was trying to avoid #3 happening any time soon.
Then again comparing this to say the milwaukee inflator or the ridgid, ryobi, et. al. ones one may find a marginally "better" seeming option but none of them really strike me as being really rock solid robust "buy it once for a life time" devices. I'm not really sure why that is since something like a little air compressor ought to be easily made reliable and durable.
Work great, very fast at filling up a car tire for a portable air compressor. It's definitely worth spending more on this than some slow no name chinese brand.
Heatsink will get hot, don't touch it like an idiot while it's running.

You'd hear even the $500 ARB one has issues. At this price, you can get two of them and air up twice as fast and have a back up. An alternator can run two units at once. Especially on an off road vehicle
