Vash the Stampede is a wanted gunslinger with a habit of turning entire towns into rubble. His path of destruction reaches across the wastelands of a desert planet. Oddly enough, for such an infamous outlaw, there's no proof he's ever taken a life. In fact, he's a pacifist who's more doofus than desperado. There's definitely a whole lot more to Vash than his reputation lets on.
Samurai Champloo: The Complete Series
Mugen is a ferocious, animalistic warrior with a fighting style inspired by breakdancing. Jin is a ronin samurai who wanders the countryside alone. They may not be friends, but their paths continually cross. And when ditzy waitress Fuu gets them out of hot water with the local magistrate, they agree to join her search for the samurai who smells like sunflowers.
Our research indicates that each series is $34 lower (87.2% savings) than the next best available price from a reputable merchant with prices starting from $38.99 at the time of this posting. -StrawMan86

Looks like these are English dubbed only - no original Japanese with English subs.
Thanks for confirming, dubbed is a no-go for me.
I never understood why digital distribution has dubbed/subbed versions of the same anime (especially when there is no difference in the video itself) and why you have to buy each separately. It made sense when there were anime for which the plot/characters were changed/edited for the American release, because then the video would not be the same for either audio track.
If I buy the Blu-ray, it comes with both audio options. If I watch it on Netflix (Or Amazon Prime Video), there are multiple language tracks for the same video. So why is it okay to charge twice for digital version? Feels too much like the distributors are double-dipping IMHO.

Contracts with the original owners. Guess is royalties are paid differently for both versions, some older titles like these don't even offer JP separate. At a certain point both are at least offered and you can pick your poison.
GKids for their movies finally starting to offer both on newer releases so that's a start at least.
Huge Champloo fan, but I've never watched Trigun. Any good comparisons?
I actually just started watching Trigun last week, had never seen it before.
I'm getting some Cowboy Bebop vibes, which is interesting since they came out around the same time. Vash has some similarities to Spike in regards to the "dealing with a troubled past" idea.
It didn't start out like I was anticipating, but it's grown on me and I'm definitely hooked at this point, about halfway through.

The second half is nuts. You're in for a treat. I'm kind of jealous you get to experience it for the first time.
Edit: My bad. Looks like they have it but just don't sell it?
When you see a page on vudu like that, it means that the item is still available to watch if you've already purchased it, but new purchases are not allowed.
It used to be that entire shows or movies would be deleted from your account when the show would stop being available for sale, but now it's pretty standard that shows remain in your account even if they can't be purchased anymore. I think the reason it used to get deleted is because neither side of the licensing deals wanted to be responsible for paying to have the digital content hosted. With AWS and other services growing immensely in the last 10 years it is now better for Amazon/apple/vudu to pay to host it if it means customers buy more stuff because it won't get deleted.
Its too bad. I would pay full price for these shows on Google play. Have them on my watch list. Same with dbz original, king of the hill, fullmetal. Funimation is weird.
Why do you prefer Google Play? GP's user interface is atrocious, IMO...especially when searching and watching for series.
It's based on a manga of course, the series tries to cram in a very complex story in the second half.
Hopefully this spoiler tag still works for slickdeals...
For anyone who has seen it but didn't really put it all together - extreme spoilers, will completely ruin the show if you read this so just don't if you haven't seen it:

With Roku, Fire Sticks you can view your purchases via the Apple TV app.
