I have an obscene amount of cameras paired with our alarm system because I'm frequently traveling with the military. I currently have 3 of these cameras with two Eufy C24 Pro cameras on the interior then Arlo Pro 4 cameras for the exterior. I really like the Eufy cameras for the night vision clarity and the geofencing (still in beta and kind of finicky, mine resets randomly at 5am every couple of days to alarm active even when I'm in the house). Main thing about the pan cameras, I have them at my main entrances, the kitchen and top of my 2ms floor stairs so that if I need to scan or move the cameras around remotely I can do so. The C24 Pro is better in static areas such as garages (mine is in a rear corner and covers the entire garage). I prefer my eufy cameras over the Arlo for a ton of reasons and the only real downside I see to my eufy cams is that I'm unable to live stream all of the cameras simultaneously in the app (Arlo can) and since they're indoors, solar powering is a pain. Therefore I have them wired through the walls to hidden battery backups, just in case power is ever lost to the house because there's no rechargeable battery option for those two eufy cams.

1st. No camera that is plugged to the net has privacy. Not a single one.

2nd. You should never point the camera to things you do not want the net to have.

I swore off Arlo years ago when I found out that they were both dropping alert and videos for whatever asinine reason. I only knew about this because both 1) I received an alert in the middle of the night that mysteriously disappeared when I woke up and 2) I had a secondary security system pointed in the same area, where I could "check" Arlo's work. Trust but verify Arlo's work. Worked with Arlo support for 2 weeks before I had enough and returned to Costco smh.

Edit: have this exact same camera model in use for probably a year now, not the best (I've always preferred emailed notifications vs push notifications since email leaves a record) but the camera hasn't missed much and most importantly, never magically deleted notifications or alerts.

I wonder how long a 10000mah battery pack would run one of the indoor 2k solo cam? If I don't want to run power to a location..

I run a dedicated 10kmah ups on my eufys and it wont last more than 3 or so days. If you just use a normal power bank it'll probably last a day if that since the power has to keep drawing from the power bank or else it'll turn off.

This thing goes down to 35.99. just gonna sit around and wait til it hits that again lol

I have 1 of these as a baby monitor and it's OK but not great for a dedicated baby monitor. The notifications are spotty on the app even in the most sensitive setting. But I want one in the garage and I think they'd work great for that.

Would this be good use for a baby room? Just starting research and not sure if the baby cams have more to offer…

I'm in the market for a new bab...err toddler monitor. Our infant optics baby monitor has lasted through two boys but they're a little older now, and I'm looking for a camera that can be integrated into SmartThings. I'd like to be able to pull it up the live feed on command and also have sensitivity alerts as my 3 year old likes to wonder around freely in the middle of the night.

It doesn't look like this is a good option for my needs?

You can view the live stream pretty quickly via the app. PC uses a web view and it's balky - works but there are often delays/retries.

I don't know what a sensitivity alert is. You can adjust the sensitivity of motion detection (and sound detection), in theory - the app has five discrete settings.
