Finally looks like the remaining stores around me in NW Chicago suburbs look like they are finally no longer accepting these coupons as I've been exploiting them for months. Anyone in Chicago area find a subway still accepting the FREESUB coupon code? I tried about 20 subways this morning with no luck

Same at multiple places. Seems they are turning off the system that processes coupons, that's what the store worker told me. Though did not fully understand his words, noted each store has an option when to accept and when not to.

I remember in 2008 crisis, Subway ran a promotion of $5 for any sub, now in 2022 despite of all the inflations and cost hike, we can still enjoy the $5 sub (2 for $10). Kudos to Subway
