Beware that some of these buds have a "ringing" issue while listening to audiobooks or calls. This is not noticeable while listening to music and can only be heard during the above use cases.

If you get a good pair, these are the best ANC IEMs in the market right now and are well worth the price.

In case anyone wants to know, the coupon is valid until 03/07/2022.

I hope this helps,

You have to go to their music center app and choose ldac. This will set ldac as the default for the applications you choose.

I plan to return my Sony WF-1000XM4 after using them for a few weeks. Their comfort is better than the Bose QuietComfort, and I'm okay with them, but they still aren't perfect. Their Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is subpar compared to Bose QuietComfort. I was thinking about keeping them, but Sennheiser announced that their Momentum True Wireless 3 will be unveiled in April 2022 [whathifi.com], and I have high hopes for those, even if I have to pay $299 for them (price hasn't been announced, but they'll probably be around $300).

So bummed when I see people say the ANC is great , I just returned a pair, the ANC barely did anything, despite trying multiple tips including 3rd party ones.
Just to be certain, can you confirm that you used the app and chose "NOISE CANCELING" and not something like "AMBIENT SOUND" at level 1? I saw that some people online thought Ambient Sound at the lowest level is the same as ANC, which it definitely isn't.

Which is more comfortable, QC or xm4? Thank you.
In regards to purely comfort, I prefer the Sony WF-1000XM4 over Bose QuietComfort. That said, they both have their issues. For the Bose, even short-term wearing isn't the most comfortable, and if I wear them for multiple hours, I feel a slight indentation on the inside of my ear. For the Sony, short-term wear is fine, but after a few hours, the tragus of my ear feels a bit painful to the touch; however, I only feel the pain when I touch the tragus itself, and the pain is completely gone soon after I stop wearing the earbuds. With all that said, people have different preferences and different ear shapes, so what may be comfortable for me may not be comfortable for you.

Lost my Bose QC, purchase XM4, 12 day of use. 5-6 hours m-f. making phone calls, some music. used with oneplus8p or pix6pro

ANC. i prefer bose, but XM4 is excellent. Foam tip blocks out a lot, even before anc kicks in.
I also lost my Bose QuietComfort earlier this year, and got the Sony WF-1000XM4 as a replacement. I definitely agree that the Bose has significantly better ANC.

How's the ultra with these? I'm patiently waiting for mine to ship while wife got hers 1 month early.
My Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone works perfectly with the Sony earbuds. I can't even think of what would make them better.

Take care,
Tofu Vic
