It should be a ban-able offence to post something this bad.

Man, there needs to be standards for posting. It's bad enough to post non-demand products at MSRP, but old products at prices higher than newer models, that's next level offense.

Lol, this might be a good deal if it was (at least?) half the price and Samsung had any intention whatsoever of continuing to support this device with OS/security updates.

I have questions:
  1. Is Android 9.0 what these tablets ship with?
  2. If I spend $400 on this however-many-years-old tablet, will it have any updates to install out-of-the-box?
  3. If so, what version of Android will it actually update to, out-of-the-box?
  4. Relatedly, what will be the final version of Android that Samsung will allow this device to upgrade to?
  5. To borrow a term from Chromebooks, what is the 'AUE date' of this $400 tablet?

I do like the fact that it's a 64gb tablet. I don't think anyone (let alone SD'ers) should spend $400 on a tablet that is already (or soon to be) deprecated, and that they will have to install LegacyOS on either immediately, or in six months.

I agree it's a terrible deal. That said, yes, it's almost three years old, but it's a nice little tablet for media consumption. Beautiful screen, nice form factor. I got mine around 2 years ago for $275.

My tablet is running android 11/One UI 3.1, and still seems to get regular updates.

What is LegacyOS?

I paid less than half this price for my S8 tab with keyboard and accessories. And got rid of an old iPhone XR. Why do they allow stupid posts. SD going downhill... Come on mods

Gah! Sorry, I always (mistakenly) call it LegacyOS (that's the name of a Linux distro) when it's actually LineageOS:
