I personally prefer the corded version. It has a lot more power. I've tried different batteries and they just don't last long when I'm sanding a medium piece of furniture like a table. From my experience I would only use this for smaller pieces or if you need to get into some awkward position or spaces. Decent price tho. Happy slickdealing!

That was my experience as well. I'd love the flexibility of the wireless model, but I ended up buying a corded Festool, instead, because it's way more powerful and cost me about the same price.

I have a corded that I get out for bigger jobs, but I like having the cordless for quick stuff. I find I'm more likely to actually sand stuff instead of saying eff it when I don't have to wrangle cords.

Anyone have experience with this sander? Reviews on Amazon seem to indicate moderate pressure makes the pad bind (stop rotating) and that they have to clean it often or else pads stop sticking to the Velcro.

I've had this model for about a year, and haven't run into this problem. The Velcro is very secure in my experience.
