This is, hands down, the best cordless screwdriver I have used. Great torque and you can manually turn the bit at the end of the drive. Well worth $20!

I have and recommend the pistol grip version [amazon.com] for its comfort and substantially higher torque. It usually sells for $20. It also sells as a kit with case [amazon.com] for $30.

I actually bought both and returned the pistol grip version. I liked how compact this is as well as being able to use it as a manual screwdriver. I paid regular price last year and feel that it's worth every penny as I use it much more than I thought I would. I have other tools that can handle the higher torque situations.

20% off isn't particularly enticing.

Have this exact one and it's awesome. Has lasted years and been through some serious projects (two large scale renovations). It's perfect for assembling furniture, minor electrical, and other light jobs

No, no it doesn't. Weird feature in a screwdriver. But, hey, for a simple tool drawer, nothing wrong with a combo tool.

Yes it does:

Where are you getting that? I do see that exact statement on the Lowe's page for the driver in this deal (an obvious feature given the "Circuit Sensor" in the product name/title), but it doesn't apply to the pistol-grip version that I mentioned.

Bought the exact similar one but made by HAMMERHEAD on clearance for $3.77 back on Sept. 2018 from Lowes. This one https://smile.amazon.com/HAMMERHE...B01N0YV423

https://www.lowes.com/pd/HAMMERHE...1000107813

Still works great and ideal for a quick deployment from the kitchen draw.
