What FAN SETUP is the best?
• [TOP IDEA#1] AIO on TOP as EXHAUST, all other 5 as INTAKE (GPU prevents #9 install)

•My goal is to keep it pressurized and encourage air to EXIT out under the GPU to the back (since can't put fan on lower back as intake).
•I care about it running cool, not looking "cool".

• Is this a good PC and price, for a VR rig? (compared to other POST-COVID prices, that is)

• Is this a good MOTHERBOARD choice for VR? (4 to pick from, about same cost.... Didn't want DDR4 due to RAM price)

Motherboard: GIGABYTE Z690 UD AX DDR4 WiFi 6, ATX ARGB 2.5GbE LAN, 3 PCIE X16, 2 PCIE X1 6 SATA3 3X M.2 SATA/PCIE

Can you please share a link to something available now at a better price & similar specs?
I can still cancel the order.

For VR, do I need 32GB ?
If I don't now, but future games will, Amazon sells these for $7 more (and gets cheaper over time) https://www.amazon.com/XPG-3200MH...B0828C3DJB

I don't know. I bet there's stuff on google that'll tell you recommended specs.

When I try to change the CPU fan from liquid to: ENERMAX ETS-T50A ARGB Series CPU Cooler w/ Black ENERMAX Twister Bearing PWM fans (All Venom OC Certified) (Black Color)

I get a warning that they recommend 240mm cooling and above, but it's all liquid. From what others on this forum have said, it doesn't sound like liquid is a good choice cuz it fails(leaks) in a couple years. How do I reconcile with the recommendation? Does it mean the ENERMAX doesn't cool enough/I might burn out the CPU?

There are different sized AiO coolers 120, 240, 280, 360 etc ... They're telling you to pick a bigger one. Don't be afraid of the newer gen liquid coolers, most name-brands are reliable but may need to be replaced 8-10 years down the line because the fluid will dry up.

Tempting. But there was an i7 12700k for 1650 a few weeks ago. I believe it had a 3060 Ti but with my focus on video editing rather than gaming it was a better deal.

This 3070 TI is stronger and worth more.

Older post was ~$200 more (for 3070 Ti) with other disadvantages too.

thanks @DerekSky. so leaking isn't a thing anymore, but (eventually) drying up is.

Be careful with this company. Purchased a machine last year. The graphics card stopped displaying the second monitor so we had to send it back for repair. They wanted us to pay for the shipping. Waited a few weeks for them to repair it and then got it back and it still has the same issue. If you send an email to the support department it takes them weeks to reply if they reply at all. Finally got someone to reply and he tells me it's out of warranty and not covered. I pointed out it was still in warranty when I started emailing about the problem, he tells me I should have called. I had called a couple times, waited on hold forever and eventually gave up. Been fighting with them to get it covered since it's clear by the email chain that I contacted them before the warranty expired. They are doing me "a favor" and allowing me to send it back on my dime so that they can fix what should have been fixed when I sent it last time. I would not recommend buying from this company. Terrible customer service!
