Been using Zenni for 5+ years. Good products, great prices. Twice+/year they offer 20% discount. Worth waiting for, if you don't need them today. My most recent order, for separate prescriptions for my wife & I, arrived in around a week. My longest wait, a few years ago, was 2-3 weeks. You do have to have a current prescription, know your preferred frame dimensions, and be careful about them if you need progressive lenses. On progressives, get frames with adjustable bridge pads, to avoid minor problems with the sweet spot. I don't think you can beat them for solid, standard frames. Their lenses are just fine.
Found this 15% off coupon by googling. For me it was better than 15 dollars off.

I ordered during Black Friday and got my glasses astonishingly fast. I'm honestly super impressed. They do feel a bit cheap but they've held up well. Got two pairs plus a pair of prescription sunglasses which are also great. Can def recommend.

Every year, I buy glasses online from goggle4u, zenni, 39dollarglasses, payne glasses. This year, I saw a deal from lenskart, buy one get one free, and free shipping. Surprisingly the glasses were from India. The shipping was faster than zenni, goggle4u. I also had 30% off stack on BOGO. My kids have no complain about these glasses.

How long they are taking to ship?
My wife just ordered 3 pairs last month. Shipping took about 8 days to get to our home in Atlanta from the day they were ordered.

Additional info, she got one of the $6.95 pairs, one $22, and one $45 (different colors and shapes). 3 pair for less than $80 which she was pumped about. Turns out her favorite ones were the $7 pair and the more expensive ones didn't really appear to be any better in quality. She was happy with all of them, but based on her experience, she would just try to find low cost ones from now on since there was really no difference in the more expensive ones.

FYI. I have been using Zenni for about 5 years. No problems whatsoever and shipping is very fast in my experience.

Good deal and I'm considering pickup up a pair of regular glasses and some sunglasses with this deal.

In this industry, Warby uses grade B materials. Zenni uses grade C. Someone like Essilor, Zeiss, and Hoya will be the top of the line with lenses.

Where to get those…?

Yea, mine did this but that was because I washed them with soapy water. I would say make sure they are super dry if you decide to rinse them with water.

When your done washing dip them in rubbing alcohol or something similar. It will evaporate in seconds and prevent any rust. You should be able to pick up gallon or so off Amazon for a few dollars. Then use a jar or something similar to dip and reuse.

Zenni also gives 10% off for military/veterans but you can't get it with any other promotions.

Yeah, $183 AFTER insurance at the eye place versus $45 on zenni using the code, free shipping, and free engraving. And I got the blue light filter.

Is this a decent deal for Zenni?

Their 20% deals are better but this isn't bad for certain price points. Ex: just did $55 glasses so $10 off $55 is about 20%. Wouldn't make sense to buy two pairs for $15 off $110.

I buy anytime they release a promo code because my kid goes through glasses like a beaver through trees.

Thanks for the info! In your example, $55 is the price associated with just the frame, yes?

Anyone know of an affordable chain optician to get an eye exam? I need to update my prescription.
https://www.eyeque.com

You can do it with Zenni's founders other company - the home eye prescription tool.

In Los Angeles, OK Optical, Gardena does prescriptions only $29.

I've been ordering from Zenni for ~11 years. Amazing prices!
I recommend them.

Minor issue. The last couple of glasses seemed to get green rust (?) inside the nose pads.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Any metal with contact with water, especially tap water that has minerals, chlorine, etc, trapped under the nose pads for an extended period of time will.... Corrode!

Use distilled water rinse, then dry asap using a hair dryer if necessary. The longer water contacts most metals, the more corrosion occurs.

Make sure you guys get your lens prescriptions checked locally by an optometrist's office after buying lenses online. They are prone to error, unfortunately.
https://m.glassesusa.com/scan

You can scan eyeglass prescriptions at home free with a laptop and smartphone. Then compare with your written prescription.

4 out of 5 for accuracy in measuring the power, axis. 5 put of 5 for the PD. ... When measuring just one time. Repeat a few times and you'll be spot on with the power and pd, axis will still likely be off a few degrees.

1. Make sure you measure the midway point with a ruler! And use that when tilting the glasses.

2. Use a cell phone holder when scanning the glasses so you can use both hands to tilt the glasses up and down while minimizing rotation.

3. Scan at least 3 times. Usually the measurement that's an outlayer is obvious.

4. Make sure the room is brightly lit so the PD measurement is accurate.
