I received the coupons in the mail last time I did it. They looked like checks. The cashier at Kroger must have seen them before, because she ran it through without hesitation. I tried using it at Walmart self checkout and I was told it wouldn't work there. I didn't bother to try it at the regular checkout.

I attached some picture [slickdealscdn.com] of similar ones that people had on Google Images.

Don't know why people bother with this stuff. May as well just mix some Icecream or evaporated milk up with carnation nutrition drink mix. Probably just as "healthy/nutritious" if weight gain is the goal.
