Good price, but note this is NOT the slightly updated GP model.

edit - some comparative reading:

I've had this monitor for going on two years now and still think it's the best purchase I've ever made for my PC. It's great for fighting games and delivers a crisp picture.

I'm waiting for this model to be sub-$300 so I can replace my second monitor.

What's the difference between the 83 and the 85?

The 83 is on sale at Microcenter:

One of my best purchases use it with my Series X and PS5 since it caps at 120 fps this is the perfect monitor color and refresh rate are perfect. Also the perfect competitive size only downfall HDR is pretty dark so I ended up turning it off 10/10 would recommend

Per this review, it is the same monitor without the USB hub

$279 seems like a great deal if you don't *really* need that built in usb hub…

I was confused as to how this was a deal as I bought it for much cheaper a few months back then I noticed it has the USB ports.

This is a great monitor and this is a good price. You can get it for cheaper if you go for non USB model.

Just FYI I returned the 83 (27GL83A-B) recently cause the anti glare coating gives any white background a speckled rainbow-like effect. It really bothered me so I exchanged it for the 27GP850-B.

Really happy with that one so far. IPS glow is also a soft white instead of orange.

I have the 32" model of this version. It looks stellar. Gaming is just so smooth at 144 hz. My only bottleneck is my GPU (GTX 3060).

I think the Gigabyte M27Q is probably a better buy overall and it's almost $20 cheaper.
