I should have mentioned it in the OP, but this is available for shipping so you don't need to live near a micro center to get the deal like some of their sales.
I will never understand this website/community. You post a refurb legion 7 with a 3070 with a 2 year warranty for $1550. You get down voted to oblivion. But put a G17 with a 3070 for $1900 and everyone cheers.

Kudos to the poster
too much at $1900 with only 3070 and AMD released 6000 series laptops CPUs few weeks ago and Intel i7 12th gen laptops have 14 cores now.

I have the 10th gen 2070 version of this laptop, also bought from Microcenter and i LOVE IT. With this having QHD and a 3 series I think $1899 is a fair price.

Note: You can save 5% by opening a Microcenter store card, might be worth it. Tough to call this SLICK but definitely a fair deal, given the current market of outrageous electronics pricing.

Yeah, this has 32GB ram though for less than the price a lot of other places sell the 16GB sku for.

The more new 2022 laptop pricing comes out, the slicker these deals on 2021 models look 😂 😭

I totally agree! This is a 17 inch though and 17 inch gaming laptop deals don't come up too often. Usually it's 15 inch deals.

These came with Liquid metal paste and does a really good job cooling. However efficient cooling always come with loud fan noise with all the gaming laptop. Pretty easy to access and replace the thermal paste as well. The weight is very comfortable to carry around. Highly recommend right after the lastest Alienware laptop as I owned both of the brand.

Yeah but this for $1900 is rough.. especially with shipping, you get no mux switch, inferior build quality, worse RGB, inferior display, inferior performance(wattage), worse cooling, ports, and design(do get better speakers though lol). It's just a bit of a bruh

This has a 17" QHD screen (not everyone prefers 16:10, 16:9 is better for gaming), faster CPU than the Legion 5 pro, 32GB RAM, better battery life, way better speakers, better trackpad, per-key RGB, Etc. It's a more premium system overall.

Lenovo vantage also sucks, it has no manual fan curve, and Armory Crate has wattage sliders that you can use to get the best balance of power/noise because of dynamic boost.

You're really giving up quite a bit by getting a Lenovo, but they are a good bang for the buck if you are ok with making some concessions.
