I've been eyeing this for a while and last time when the deal was 50 less I missed it. I got the deal yesterday and am waiting to be shipped and to go down a little bit more.

And before anyone starts crying because of the low power 4060, the RTX 4050, 4060, and 4070 cap performance at 100W. There is no advantage in having a laptop GPU go over 100W. You are just wasting your money if you get one that goes over 100W. When it comes to the 4080 and 4090, more wattage actually does improve performance.

Does it decrease longevity if >100w? Why is it bad for a laptop gpu to go >100w? Thanks

and only 16gb ... soldered RAM.

soooo easy to make 32gb for pennies more (to them)... on an i9 processor beast for over 1500 bux.

would gladly pay couple hundred more for OLED and 32GB ram.

been wanting one of these for a while (best ultra portable desktop replacement)

What you've said is true however the GPU here is only running at 50 watts (or up to 65 watts if some power is diverted from CPU). Some theoretical performance is lost from this, but you can still achieve 85% of the performance of the full power variant. The 4000 series hardware is super efficient and loses surprisingly little when run on vastly reduced power.

I have the 4070 version of this machine (very hard to find!) and I love it to bits. Running at less than 100 watts means the machine runs cooler and quieter anyway.

This is incorrect (Best Buy has listed the wrong specs). It's a 2560 x 1600 resolution screen. If by 2k you mean QHD then this is QHD+.

It's not an OLED but this is a 165Hz VRR display that is responsive and bright and generally reviewed as "excellent"

I also want to point out that this is a 13.4" device. You don't need a 4k panel. The panel here actually has the same resolution as the 13" M1 MacBook Air Retina display.

People talk about whatever they think before researching and read reviews about it.
This 2 to 1 laptop/tablet is powerful enough to run games, media consumption and work.

When 16GB of ram was bad on any computer? Last time I remember was enough for everything, but I agreed that price it needed a little bit more.

The screen is perfect QHD+ with VRR and Dolby Vision HDR in 13.4 inches. Reviews show this hybrid runs games like Cyberpunk, RDR 2, Resident Evils 4, Starfield etc with no problem at all.

The battery is not that great but, if you are planning to have it plugged or using a power bank it's good. Portability is the stellar point here.

For example, I'm a gamer and I hate carrying my heavy laptop all the time, and an Android tablet or iPad is not that powerful to run demanding games.

Three reasons. First, there's no way to dissipate that much heat so your laptop gets dangerously hot. Second, there's a practical limit to battery size and power inputs, so when not plugged into the wall, running flat out with a 200W GPU and 48W CPU, the internal battery will last roughly 14 minutes from 100% to dead flat (for a 60WH battery). Third, there are very few ways to supply a laptop with that much power via a standard/modern USB power cable (the newest PD3.1 supports 240W, but the previous PD spec topped out at 100W) which means you could plug in your laptop and it would have to drain both the internal battery and max a PD cable to keep it running.

1 USB c port that's also the dedicated power input. No thanks. Already suffering from previous year's model.

Edit: I was wrong. 2 ports then.

Huh?

1 is C, and the other is A.

Where do you see the second C in pictures?

What's the 'link'?
