i think on ebay, they sell this model paired with an external gpu. i looked into it because i wanted an external gpu for my ROG ally. it was about the same price so this seems like not so good of a deal imo. maybe they're diff models, i'll check the deal i saw earlier.

found it. can anyone give me an input on how much better this laptop deal would be opposed to the one i found here? (note that i mainly am looking for something to pair with my ROG ally. i have a desktop and a laptop already)

The deal you found is for the X13 model. The Z13 model is the same model as the Microsoft Surface 9 with a detachable keyboard, so it can be said to be very different. Additionally, external ROG graphics cards of 4080 or 4090 have been released, but it does not seem to be a good idea to buy the 3080.
