Also very important to note: "Only open to users who haven't tried Spotify Premium before."

I had premium a few years ago, and I received the following message: "Sorry, you are not eligible for that plan."

Edit: Yes, I'm very well aware that you can create a new account. Just calling out an important section of the fine print.
I have dealt with WM CSR and they always took care of issues without giving me the run around. and this was even prior to Walmart+. They are nowhere near atrocious
I'm regretting Walmart +. I've done 14 orders and 13 were missing SOMETHING. THE refund is instant but still. My last order was $60 and $23 worth of stuff was missing so I STILL had to go to the store. Of my 14 orders 5 were also late by 2 hours. Also tips aren't included so add $4 for that. That said, I got a year so I'm happy for Spotify

Just ditched Spotify and won't be going back until their disinformation policy applies to all podcasts and not just the unprofitable ones.

Amex Platinum isn't what it used to be, at $695 to boot!
Whew, that's a barrier entry fee for only the most SERIOUS of subscribers....so to hear it's not even worth it means someone is going to sign up today and already waste money

I love walmart+ I got a great deal with my HHonors amex (which doesn't have an annual fee) to get half off an annual membership a while back, and then Walmart gave me another 6 months free for upgrading from monthly to annual. It's well worth it to not have to figure out where they've moved stuff to in the store. Or so I don't have to drag myself there after a long day of work. Usually no complaints about the condition of the items or quality of the produce they pick for me. Any issues have been resolved with a few clicks in the app.

Spotify premium will be a nice little bonus.

Same here. Orders are hardly correct. Over the holidays tried to order Walmart gift card using Amex offers for $10 cash back over $35. Never received two gift cards. One was lost in transit and another one arrived open empty envelope. Received both the refunds are gift cards were never used but lost two $20 credits from amex. Tried calling csr at Walmart but no use just apology. Finally last supervisor offered promo code to be used over $45 with $25 off. So much hassle for their mistakes. I did sign up W+ thru amex paying $49 for the year.

Same. I wanted to support W+ to increase competition for Amazon but they've been making it difficult for me to justify the subscription. Shipped items are constantly delayed. Something that says 2-3 day delivery ends up showing up a week or more later. For grocery delivery, there are issue like simple items that I order regularly are often out of stock, I can't get $35 worth of grocery to use the service weekly and I just end up driving to my nearby grocery store. Also, there is no real communication with the shopper/driver for preferences. My state charges for plastic bags and despite repeatedly asking them in the delivery comment to reduce bags used, it doesn't look like anyone reads it, every delivery still shows up with one bag containing one item and I ended up getting excessively charged for like 10 bags when at most 2-3 will suffice. it's not environmentally friendly and just a poor customer experience. Amazon is dominant because they have built a sophisticated inventory management and logistics infrastructure they can tightly control. Walmart doesn't have its own logistics and if FedEx or DoorDash screws up, it's on them. Amazon subscription price hike sucks but they can try to justify the cost with all its value-added services like Prime Video, and now Luna. For Walmart, I personally don't really need another music subscription, and Spotify trial is not a value-add and I'd rather they work on improving their systems and services if they want to keep up with Amazon.

Sweet. I personally like my W+. This is icing on the cake since I got the membership at 50% off since I had the AMEX offer.

I had one grocery delivery order where I ordered a trash bin and it came without the lid. I contacted CSR chat and they just refunded me my money. It wasn't hard at all, the chat was very easy to use. Amazon asks far more questions.

I just paid for Walmart+ yesterday to cop a PS5.

I have no interest in Spotify since I have YT Music Premium, which only costs like $2.30 for YT Music + Ad-free Youtube.
