Way overpriced. Similar Android radios go for $100 on Amazon/eBay.
Would love to see an octacore with 2 gigs or ram and 32 gigs storage for $100. Can you please share a link?

It's $249 when I checked. Looks like the deal is over?

If you apply the promo code ATOTOA6PF02 at checkout, the discount is taken off (I tried it just now): $249.90 - $74.97 = $174.93.

This has been the price for a while. They just raised it and provided a promo code. I've been looking for one for a few month and been waiting for a deal.

do any of these support sirius xm? as much as i'd like to upgrade the crappy stock radio in my jeep, i don't want to give up satellite radio. (streaming is not a good substitute because we dont have cell service in many places i take the jeep but satellite works flawlessly)

Throw in my few cents.

I bought one probably 3 years ago.

Installation was REALLY annoying due to my car. The directions were not good for the installation and most of the wires did not reach areas in the console. I had to buy extra wire and splice it together. After doing all that, it finally worked and it has been solid ever since. I tried using android auto with it, but it didnt work that well (I just wanted to try it for the heck of it). After that the GPS wasn't working for the car, but a factory reset fixed all of that. Still working and going strong. Just note installation might be more annoying than you think.

No, I don't think so. They only support it through a separate device plugged into the aux inputs (i.e. SiriusXM Commander Touch).

Even though I am a Prime Member they wanted to charge me an $11 shipping charge so I canceled the order and Tweeted out this same information.

Maybe these have improved, but I've been disappointed with the Atoto A6 I bought in 2018. My main two complaints are it's too slow to run Waze smoothly, and the radio reception is bad. I resorted to using an app called Head Unit Reloaded to emulate Android Auto and offload running Waze to my phone. That sort of worked, but it was so glitchy that I gave up on it. The radio reception is bad even with very strong stations that my factory radio could pick up 50 miles farther away from the station. I even pulled the unit out of the dash and checked the antenna connection to no avail.

I also couldn't get it and my phone to reliably automatically connect via Bluetooth. I usually had to fiddle with toggling the Bluetooth connection each time I got in the car, which was very irritating. Perhaps it was an incompatibility with my particular phone. I've gotten a new phone since, but I haven't bothered even trying to connect it to the Atoto unit. I've just been using it as a crummy radio for the last couple years because using connected apps on it was so frustrating.

The radio app is buggy too. My preset stations randomly disappear. The whole button for the preset goes away so I can't even create the preset again. The only solution I've found is a factory reset, which is very annoying and only a temporary fix.

I haven't checked for software updates in a couple years, but updates were few and far between during the first year or two that I actively checked for them. I think I might have gotten one update that didn't make any difference that I noticed.

There are things I do like about the unit. It starts up in only a couple seconds from sleeping when the ignition is turned on (cold boots take longer of course). It doesn't drain the battery when the car is off and the unit is sleeping. The screen is nothing special, but it is adequately bright even in the sun.

I spent lot of time tinkering with it to try to resolve the issues, but I was never happy with it. I definitely wouldn't have bought it if I had known about the issues I would have.
Thanks for the honest review! I gloss over whenever someone suggest just buying a "name brand hu". I don't expect much from these except the wide use case of having an Android tablet with some MOSFETs. I just want to use the torque app, maybe some media consumption, and mild emulation while parked. I keep a careful eye out for brand recognition to see if the brand stand behind their product. Looks like atoto seems ok as well as dasaita. I think the profit margins are pretty high on these as the upper end units have px6 or rockchip rk3399. Rockchip has never been "high-end" to me, lol. I do try to keep my expectations in check though as I know there is a limited market for these head units. I guess really I am keeping an eye out for a unit with decent brand recognition, 1080p resolution, and at least the rk3399 in a double din form factor.
