This is the lowest price for 1st party Amazon sellers. I've been looking for an expansion for my PS5 and after seeing some Samsung 980 Pro's on sale for Ebay, found this deal on Amazon.

Bought a heatsink for $9 more - there are many to choose from and easy to install.

Terribly overpriced. Not even Samsung charges this much. Any decent deal would be less than 200 for 2tb, 100 for 1tb and so forth.
Just brand markup here.

What? Samsung's comparable PCIE 4.0 NVMe drive, the 980 Pro, is $279.99 for 2tb.

Not the 980 but the 970 is 189.99 on Samsung.com w student, work, mil. discounts.
The SN850 boasts better R/W speeds. But unless you're running some nuclear physics models probably not noticeable.
And $70 less.

OP is looking for PS5 storage space. 970 is Gen 3 and not compatible with PS5 standards.

Better deal with the AMEX MR 40% off. Max discount is $50 so it brings it down considerably. Still need a heatsink though. Waiting for a bigger price drop however.
