I work for Avis, code is valid for BAYPHARM CORP. employees only.
However, anyone can use them and most counter staffs don't care. Unless it's a manager checking you in, then they might ask for validation. The reason is because even without accidents, we periodically bill BAYPHARM CORP. for wear and tear and other miscellaneous charges, if they refuse to pay due to "fraud", you better believe we're gonna get those funds from you.

I've been trying to contact their support hours and hours(chat and call center), neither is able to cancel the reservation or refund.
I am disputing via my credit card company.

Can you elaborate your experience at LAS? I was there last month and did not encounter any issues.
There was a large sign in the line that said corporate discounts need to show id, email, etc. at the counter, the lady asked me for proof. Tried to play dumb and that i didnt bring anything. No luck. Ended up paying double for the cheapest car.

Costco rates are usually lower than what is on the vendors' website. Often lower than my corporate rates. Also, they don't try selling you insurance when picking up vehicle.
Also, it operates differently from any other site in terms of rebooking or chnaging reservations. Quite often, rates will drop significantly as one gets closer to the rental date. One can easily book a new reservation and cancel the old one after the booking. This is because there is no way to edit or change an exisitng reservation, only cancellation. Keep checking daily for rate changes. Quite often, the rates are lower for the highend, larger vehicle than the smaller vehicles. If you don't mind the gas money, that is the way to go.
If you have status with any of the rental agencies, enter your ID and make sure it links to your account. This will help immensely for airports where one does not have to go to the counter prior to picking up vehicle. It can save you half hour or more from not having to wait on line.
