I don't recommend this. These hotboxes are horrible. As far as the price, N to the O. You're basically paying for the alien. If you think it's cool tho, it's fine.

HP it's much more upgradable if looking for a cheap prebuilt.

I really like the Aurora design but it's kind of silly for a computer that looks like a windtunnel to have frequent heat issues.

With GPUs finally dropping in price it might be better to wait and consider building your own based around Intel 12th gen.

Do not buy this. I feel as if this thing could double as an induction cooktop. The swivel for the psu on this case is also like pushing a barrel filled with concrete across a parking lot.

Are referring to a partiicular HP? Something from the Omen series? or just their desktops in general?

Wouldn't recommend this and I have an R10 ordered.

This one is air cooled vs liquid. 3060s have been going down in general.

If you want Alienware, there's an R10/3070 w liquid cooling going for same price right now.

Would not recommend getting an i9 paired with a 3060. Odd pairing to have, if you want mid tier graphics you're better off with an i5/i7 at around $1K.

Includes the Low-Profile Smart Cooling and there is no option to change it to Liquid Cooling.

When using the Low-Profile Smart Cooling on an AMD R7 5800 in the same Alienware Aurora case the CPU hits 92.3°C; according to Gamers Nexus.

Terrible price for an 11th gen with a measly 3060.

This is a terrible price for a proprietary, non-upgradeable hotbox with a 3060. The ABS with the 3060 for $1,000 is a much more reasonable deal, that also has standard parts that can be swapped out.

Sorry OP, if it were still 2021 maybe worth it... but at this point GPUs are coming in stock more and more at MSRP and unbundled and there's less and less reason to overpay for a gaming PC.

On another note - how is this "popular" with 1 TU? Oh because it's Dell and this is PaidDeals..

I love mine but I wouldn't buy one unless it's liquid cooled. It does run hot with just a fan.
