Same here. Lasted about 5 months
I have a couple of them and none have broken or failed to operate. The only "90 day warranty" is a disappointment, but that said, if your light breaks in less than a year, then by all means buy another one, save the receipt, and return the old one in place of the new one --- within 90 days, of course.
No, it was sent via a special "parking lot sale" flyer to people signed up for HFT emails. You can check the HFT app, as well... but all you need is the pic of the coupon on your phone. They'll scan it, in-store.
