I own Max. Dependable. It is very well constructed. Reviews done when Max cost four times this price are unfounded. Stainless liner inside the base instead of cast. Base is more oval. The weight is reassuring and gives the impression of a commercial duty appliance. High wattage reaches pressure faster. No other i.p. except the new Pro Plus has touch-less programmable steam release which prevents overcooking if you aren't there to release steam manually. Digital temperature control and read out allows a wide range of temperature settings including multi-day fermentation and slow cooking.
