I want to buy this but I fly my Mavic Pro (first gen) just two or three times a year. I've shot some cool stuff with it and I know this new one blows that one out of the water but it's $$$$.

Side note: I don't know if they still do but back when I got my drone State Farm would do insurance on it (Personal Property) that was just $60 or $70 a year. I don't remember what all it covered and I never had to use it but if you're looking into an expensive drone like this you might want to check Smilie

Does this new one allow you to do obstacle avoidance with all sensors while going forward? I think the 2nd gen only allowed it going backwards, which is very odd.

Dman now that gpu prices are coming down I cant reference how many 3090s I can buy with this purchase. But all joking aside, this seems like a decent deal if you have a need for this or just have money you don't need.

I hear that DJI is blacklisted in USA due to spying concerns.

1) Is there any tangible impact on the buyer of a DJI product from a service/longevity standpoints?
2) If there is indeed spying going on, should DJI products be still purchased by serious buyers?

no problems for the buying public; consumers in america are free to buy whatever they choose.
