Hey Steelers1986! More information on the Slickdeals Rewards program can be found here: https://slickdeals.net/rewards/.

Essentially, in order to be eligible to receive cashback, you will need to download the Slickdeals Extension and sign up for a Slickdeals Rewards account. The $200 cashback award that you're referring to is equivalent to 20,000 Rewards Points. Rewards Points can be used to redeem gift cards (Visa, Sephora, eBay, etc.), or they can be cashed out via PayPal. The minimum redemption amount for PayPal is 1,000 points (or $10), and the minimum redemption amount for gift cards is 500 points (or $5).

We have made lots of improvements to Slickdeals Rewards over the past several months to make the process and overall program as seamless as possible, but if you run into any issues getting your cashback, you can always submit a support ticket here. We are more than happy to help and hear any feedback. Let me know if you have any other questions! Smilie
Is the Rewards account separate from the general SlickDeals account? I'm a registered user and I have the extension. Is that sufficient?

Got this one for $1000 from a post few days ago & very happy with it. Close to a DIY build, without the hassle.

That has only 6-core 12-thread. Everything is lower end than the one in this post.

Lenovo is well known for using the worst motherboard. I got t7 tower but voice and speaker jacks were broken. A tech came in but no lucks. Had to return it and now unavailable stock.

I currently have a T5 Lenovo with a 2070 Super. The computer will not take the most recent graphics driver from NVIDIA. Recent drivers cause the computer to crash 4-5 a day. Lenovos fix is to install the July 2021 driver, but this does not fit compatability for most new games. This has been ongoing for 6 months. Lenovo doesn't seem to have any plans for anything more than this bandaid fix.

Tons and tons of forums with owners of this machine...

i.e. https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Gami...=2#5414264

I will not be buying another Lenovo, no matter how slick of a deal.
Guys that are looking at this PC, might want to look at what he's saying here. I purchased a much lower variant of this from Costco about a year a half ago. It's been great up until the middle of last year. 90% of it is great, appears to be (mostly) standard parts. However, the upgraded NVidia driver in mine messes up with the RealTek driver that causes Windows to throw a DPC_WATCHDOG error. (Mentioned in his link)

You can update the driver and lose the speakers, or rollback to the driver from the middle of the year, which is what I did. But not sure how long it lasts. Not being able to use audio is a little frustrating to put it lightly.

I would do research on this before purchase. Lenovo hasn't done much even though there's example after example of this happening to users with Legion T5 towers.

Thank you for posting this mr_apbt69.

The reason for my previous question is that I ordered this last night but got no notification following the purchase, so I probably forgot to disable my ad blocker. There is a notification, right? Eight hours after I placed the order I cancelled. I received the auto acknowledgement of the cancellation. Eight hours after that I received a shipped notice. Since I did cancel the order, I'm probably going to refuse delivery and next time make sure to disable the ad blocker. This is an OK deal at $1024 but not at $1224.

FINALLY someone on Slickdeals who is not a pay-per-click phony.

THIS LENOVO IS A BAD DEAL.... EXAMPLE:
• $ 999 ABS RTX 3060 ...from RIGHT NOW
https://slickdeals.net/f/15669820-abs-master-gaming-pc-windows-11-home-intel-i5-11400f-geforce-rtx-3060-16gb-rgb-ddr4-3200mhz-512gb-intel-m-2-nvme-ssd-newegg-com-999?src=SiteSearchV2Algo1
• $ 1300 Costco RTX 3060TI ...from the recent months
• $ 1750 CyberP RTX 3070TI ...from the other week
https://slickdeals.net/f/15654361-cyberpowerpc-geforce-rtx-3070-ti-i5-12600kf-liquid-cool-aio-16gb-ram-1-tb-nvme-m-2-ssd-9-fans-code-march-1750

Operating System: Windows 11 Home
CPU: Intel Core i5-11400F Rocket Lake 6-Core 12-Thread 2.6GHz (4.4GHz Turbo)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12GB (Brand May Vary)
Motherboard: B560 Motherboard
RAM: 16GB RGB DDR4 3200MHz (2x8GB)
SSD: 512GB Intel M.2 NVMe SSD
CPU Cooler: RGB CPU Cooler
PSU: 550W Gold

The ABS RTX 3060 is an i5 and 500gb hard drive. Explain why the Lenovo for $225 more is a worse deal?
The CPU's are identical power. The SSD is worth ~ $ 50. Lenovo is usually highly proprietary MoBo making upgrade sometimes impossible, and performance questionable.

How is paying 25% more for that Lenovo a "slick deal" ? ? ?

I wouldn't buy another Lenovo. I bought a desktop with a 3070 back over the summer and it's the noisiest water pump I've heard. Sent it in and they reluctantly "fixed" it. It was quiet for a few weeks but now it's noisy again. And they (or fedex) bent the case panel and they legit asked me if I could just bend it back and if it really was that big of a deal.

Oh and you can't just slap new ram in and expect to get the faster speed. Their bios are extremely limiting and don't support xmp.

I have this machine, bought 6 months ago via work, its solid overall and I'm happy with the purchase. Only problem is I ordered extra RAM sticks (below) and it seems to have lowered my memory clock speed to 2667 Mhz when it should be 3200 Mhz...

This one should work, Corsair Vengeance 3200MHz DDR4 16GB (2x8GB)

Good luck on the SD cash back … I tried it on the last month lenovo legion deal with the 3070. Still waiting and fighting with SD about it. It never showed in history and I keep getting canned SD customer service boiler plate emails from them about reaching out to verify. I anticipated issues before I even ordered and screen shot EVERYTHING from check out showing SD was active in browser. Still nothing.
Hey Enix82! We appreciate your patience while waiting to hear back from the merchant with confirmation.

Fortunately, we just heard back this morning and have issued a manual payout of 14600 Rewards Points to your account. Big Grin

Have a nice weekend, and please feel free to reach out with any questions.

I'm also having an issue with rewards on my Lenovo purchase. It's also not showing up in my account history, and support has stopped responding. I've provided an invoice of the purchase, and a picture of the plugin displaying the activation message during the purchase session.

Avoid. I owned one. It died after a few months and the support was atrocious. Took 2 months and 2 repairs. Finally got a refund. Build from scratch this time.
